BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL
Tomorrow's the summer solstice. There was 19 1/2 hours of daylight today. I spent 12 of those hours inside the office. Went in early to call judges' chambers all over the country about clerkships, worked, stayed late to work on clerkship applications. Ironically, this day flew by. I looked at my watch and it was noon, then I looked again and it was 8. I love that.
